Here at 1000 Pines Farm, we believe in a strong independent market for Canadian Alpacas. All of our alpacas are CLAA registered only unless otherwise stated. We offer quality alpacas with proven bloodlines and genetics. We are always breeding towards excellence. We feel these animals are a great choice for the interested individual looking to enter the world of raising alpacas. The lower cost of dealing with just one registry, DNA testing, membership fees and the lower entry cost of buying your base herd, make the CLAA registered alpaca a tremendous choice.

We purchased our herd of black and grey alpacas with the desire to raise fine fibred animals with strong conformation in an array of the darker colours. We are currently building our herd after purchasing Chilean females for colour. We are adding Peruvian and Bolivian bloodlines in hopes of creating alpacas with all the right characteristics of colour, fineness, density, crimp and bone. Each year we hope to improve our breeding strategy and become a leading breeder of coloured alpacas.

We are a proud member of the Canadian Llama and Alpaca Association(CLAA).
